Stumbling upon the 2025 thriller "A Deadly Ride" by random chance, I opted to watch the movie since I hadn't already seen it. Sure, I had no idea what I was in for here, but I still opted to give the movie a fair chance.
Writers Jacob Cooney and Matt Sagona put together a script and storyline that certainly had potential. But ultimately, the movie failed to cash in on the potential, and it was a rather mundane viewing experience. The movie sort of grew stale where it was supposed to have become thrilling and exciting. So I wasn't overly impressed or entertained with the movie. Sure, it was watchable, but nothing outstanding actually.
Of the entire cast ensemble, I was only familiar with actress Jamie Bernadette. The acting performances in "A Deadly Ride" were fair.
I am sure that diehard thriller fans with get a much bigger kick out of "A Deadly Ride" than I did as a casual viewer. It was a watchable movie, sure, but hardly a movie that I will ever return to watch a second time.
My rating of director Glenn Ciano's 2025 movie "A Deadly Ride" lands on a four out of ten stars.

I couldn't even suffer through this tripe in one sitting. I was going to delete from my watchlist with 45 min left but figured I may as well see how it pans out. Entirely predictable, phony called in writing and script. Acting is mediocre, and unbelievable. The actors are trying to get some experience with this fodder, which they'll probably come to regret. The writing and dialogue are the worst. If I said it was written by a group of 9th or 10th graders I would be giving it too much credit. Supposedly set in Rhode Island of all places where locals go jogging in the dead of Winter with no winter clothing. Not even worth mentioning all the other 'grindhouse' particulars. I caught this streaming for 'free', apparently one other platform thinks it's worth $3.99. Good luck! Don't waste your time.
