Compilation of LGBT shorts, most really good

As in all other editions of "The Male Gaze"-collection, this is a compilation of a some LGBT-related short films, this time all of French origin.

"9TH FLOOR TO THE RIGHT" was a funny, well acted story.

"HUGO: 6.30PM" showed in a convincing and endearing way first the shock of the main character, when being diagnosed with HIV, and then the warm, literal embrace of his best friends.

"CARY & JAMES" is, as far as I'm concerned, the best of this collection. The story is witty, at times even hilarious, the photography is great, and I was completely enamored by actor Édouard Sulpice, who's not only gorgeous looking and cute as a puppy, but also very funny!

"FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME" is subtly told, but did feel a bit trunked-off in mid-air.

"YOUSSOU & MALEK" is most artistic film of the collection, telling the tale of a farewell between lovers in various ways, like by letting the main characters chant and rap poetry of love and fear and longing, and by their close friends sing their comments as a choir in a classical Greek play.
