Sergeant Pickle Breath and the Rooftop Warriors

A really thoughtful piece that keeps you laughing and rooting for all characters. There is no real villain in this film which I really loved. Everyone had their flaws and inner demons. The conflict felt so natural and real. Great performances throughout, Stephanie Mieko Cohen really stands out in this awesome ensemble that really carries the film and is the glue that holds this awesome cast of characters.

A really different approach to a romantic comedy but paying homage to the films of the 90s and the early 2000s, this film strays away from typical genres but always brings it back home to real life experiences that drive the piece and keep it contained (hard to do kudos to the director who also wrote, shot and edited the film). On the cinematography, shot in a gray black and white anamorphic lens which really sets it apart from the films ive seen recently, this film keeps you engaged, never bored and excited for what is to happen next.

Blown away by this phenomenal passion project that so effectively captures the culture, environment, and process of a person's unique journey of struggle and growth in Alicia Key's concrete jungle.

A comedic tale exploring the depths of friendship, love, freedom, and the little things that make us all too human. A film that is truly a slice of New York even though the pizzas are no longer a dollar.

All this on a $5,000 budget, simply mind blowing and a testament to determination and dedication to one's craft. Hats off to everyone on this project and excited to see the next chapters in their respective artistic journeys.
