Ivan Neville: Not Just Another Girl

I got hooked with this song ever since hearing it on the end credits of "My Stepmother is an Alien", it goes way back, but I only discovered the music video a while ago. It's a pretty good video, with Ivan Neville and his talented musicians performing the song at a bar, interspersed with a small "story" of a pretty woman who's new in town and finds a way to get to the place and charm everybody with her dance moves. Zero interaction between both acts, it's not like the director is gonna come with a romance between the girl and the singer, which would be a cliche but more interesting to see. Greatly photographer and edited, but it's a pity a small chunk of the song introduction is reduced. But we're totally invested in the song, its melody (that bass and those keyboards, everything) and it's amazing lyrics that truly praises and describes a special girl. 8/10.
