Making a bad movie funny...

The quintet from Cinematic Titanic do a terrific job making this turkey of a film watchable. This live version has a number of laugh out loud riffs. Joel and Mary Ann are good, but Frank, Trace, and J. Elvis steal the show and have the best lines.

The movie is another one of those amateurish efforts that has the look of being created by someone with a video camera who decided to make a movie on a drunken weekend. It also appears as if the director got some of the folks in his home town to agree to star in this snoozer. (or maybe they lost a bet) There's plenty of lame dialogue, poor sound quality, wooden acting, terrible special effects, bad lighting, and endless walking through the woods - but I loved every minute because of the Cinematic Titanic gang.

Anecdotes
Sheriff Jack references Harford County, which actually exists in Maryland, but the mayor talks about Perry HILL when there is a Perry HALL in Baltimore County. Perry Hall even has a Harford Road. There's no Garrett Observatory in the Old Line State; this seems to be a reference to Zachary's true identity as an alien. The Garrett Observatory is an outpost, part of the video game Elite Dangerous Star Map. The mocking of the tall blond guy's (the one who urges his friends to go hunt for the "wild animal" ) accent is wholly inappropriate. His pronunciation of "come on" is spot on for that part of the state.
