I watched this movie with my wife, and honestly, I liked it. There were some genuinely funny moments that had us both laughing, and the actors did a good job. I especially enjoyed the situational comedy-it felt natural and well-timed.

That said, I didn't care much about the story itself. The way it was framed, it could have been about anyone. The villain-supposed to be a "Charles Sobhraj"-type character-just didn't land for me. I couldn't connect with him, and that made the whole setup feel half-baked. It often left me wondering what was missing or what was going on behind the curtain.

Overall, it's a decent one-time watch. I liked what I saw in the moment, but it's not something I'd ever go back and rewatch.

In one scene the movie is directed as of 1980s but you can see a Mahindra logo on fridge when they meeting in room. That mahindra logo comes in Year 2000, And led lights were not present at that time how come. Characters are off the beat. True events should be like true..Charles shobraj has a character and attitude . Failed to deliver that.

The cast delivers solid performances, but the writing and direction falter. Unnecessary comedic elements and moments of overacting clash with the gravity of the true story. Charles Sobhraj killed more than a dozen people, and treating this as comedy feels misguided. The series struggles to find the right tone, making it hard to take the story seriously despite the actors' efforts.

This is a slow paced simplistic entertainer presented with bits of comedy. The plot is cat and mouse type but the treatment given to it makes it a family movie. Manoj Bajpai manages to keep you engaged with the director's interpretation of the simple domesticated and sincere police inspector. The comic touches given to the scenes are just short of slapstick. The feeling one gets is of getting underwhelmed and probably it is intended that way.

The movie is definitely entertaining and full marks for that. Manoj has given it value by sincerely putting in his worth a little different from the type of roles he normally performs. The entire movie is put up in a subdued, low profile, tongue in cheek, comic style which allows you to sit back and enjoy the narrative getting unfolded. It never gets you excited in any way. Manoj's family man act is endearing and keeps you absorbed.

The movie is inspired with true events however story dialogue and screenplay is average. I was expecting more. When you have such a great star cast you start expecting more. This movie is onetime watch and you can watch it with family and kids. After a point movie feels to be stretched without any reason.
