This movie starts well but quickly loses the plot. The first half slows down pretty soon and then it starts its mindless ride.

A potentially good plot gets treated quite shoddily for the final outcome which is quite underwhelming. Very unusual for Malayalam cinema to come out with such an average one.

Not worth a minute of your time.

The premise, engaging writing and screenplay + some steller performances - this was a great movie experience.

The start of the movie was a bit slow and took some time in establishing the characters, power plays, environment etc. But other a few sequences before the police man arriving at the Judge's security post ( which I felt could have been cut - and the story would have been crispier and more focused) - everything else was on point.

A light satire humour drama driven by good screenplay,dialogues and subtle performances.

The plot of the story portrays the plight of CPO Jyotikumar when assigned as PSO to a gruffy,sharp District Judge and how their relationship dynamics alter when they are put in a curveball.

Incredible writing by Rahul Riji Nair cleverly using the humour template through dialogues and has effortlessly placed the audience into the story. He has incorporated beautiful situations exploring interpersonal dynamics within the family, neighbourhood and workspace. Kudos to the team for the handpicked casting in the movie.

Stunning performances by Saiju Kurup as PSO and his dialogue timing and facial gestures to be specially mentioned. Saiju has worked out good combo with all the main characters in the story. Suresh Krishna gave a remarkable delivery upholding the perfect attitude demanded by the character. The effort he has taken in saying the specific dialect deserves appreciation.👏🏻Aswathy Sreekanth, Anand Ekarshi, Sidharth Bharathan, Balachandran Chullikad, Renjith Shekar, ZhinzShan, Krishnan Balakrishnan & Sreejith gave subtle performances.

Good work by the technical department especially the musician Sidhartha Pradeep for blending the music and BGM's elevating the quirky factor in the story. Kudos to the DOP Jayakrishnan, Editor Christy for crispy cuts, Sound Design/Mixing by Shefin/Vishnu and the colorist Liju Prabhakar for their contribution in giving a refreshing entertainer.

A clean watchable entertainer promising some good laughter moments.

I watched Flask in theatres, and it really stayed with me. The title might seem odd at first, but it makes perfect sense once you know that "Flask" is the nickname for Personal Security Officers (PSOs) - and that's exactly who the story is about.

Saiju Kurup plays the lead, a PSO to a district judge, and he absolutely nails the role with a quiet intensity. What makes Flask special is how it brings attention to the lives and struggles of people in roles we often overlook. It's a simple film, but one with a lot of heart.

If you're someone who appreciates grounded, meaningful storytelling, this one is worth catching in theatres.
