Surprised
I had no clue or idea about this movie till it popped up on my Netflix feed and thank goodness it did , a simple but yet powerful and compelling movie, while I could give them a pass on few actors but the protagonist and the antagonist did justice, such movies need to find a broader audience, recommended for all.
Started with a Bang, Ended with a Whimper
The movie kicks off with a top-notch opening that immediately grabs attention and sets high expectations. However, as the story progresses, the pacing slows down considerably in an attempt to build the storyline. Unlike the first Vash movie, where the storytelling was tightly crafted and gripping throughout, this sequel lacks that same narrative intensity and linear flow.
The climax feels abrupt and underwhelming, especially when compared to the well-executed introduction. I had high hopes after such a powerful start, but the ending didn't live up to the buildup and felt poorly stitched together.
On the performance front, Hitu and Hiten deliver solid acting, carrying much of the film's weight. In contrast, the characters of the police officer (Chetan Daiya) and the teacher (Monal Gajjar) come across as flat and, at times, even irritating and irrelevant to the story's core. Janki's character unfortunately doesn't get much screen space or depth to showcase her potential.
Overall, Vash Level 2 starts strong but loses its edge midway, ultimately failing to match the brilliance of its predecessor.

You need to watch this asap
This was a breath of fresh air from mainstream cinemas and the typical horror movies these days. Excellent performance from all the leading characters and the side characters did very well too. The direction kept the suspense tight without relying on cheap jump scares, while the cinematography amplified the eerie atmosphere beautifully. The storyline balanced horror with emotional depth, making the fear feel grounded rather than forced. The pacing was sharp, with no unnecessary filler, and the sound design elevated the tension in every crucial moment. Overall, it's a well-crafted horror film that respects its audience and proves that the genre can still deliver originality and impact.
Started with a bang, ended like a whimper
Sleeper Hit of 2023, Vash gets a sequel. The film, set 12 years after the events of the previous film, follows Atharva reluctantly coming out to fight again after a group of school girls are found in a violent puppet like control over them, with the assailant having a connection with Pratap, the black magician directly responsible for Aarya's current predicament.
The movie kicks off with a top-notch opening scene that immediately grabs your attention and sets higher expectations. However, as the story progresses, the pacing slows down considerably, in an attempt to build the storyline. Unlike it's predecessor, the sequel lacks narrative strength which loses it's grip halfway.
In terms of production, the movie is efficient. The first half had a good amount of shock moments that terrifies. From the performance perspective, except the leads, rest of the side cast were nuisance and felt irritating to the core, as they became irrelevant to the story.
While the story didn't have much weight, the climax felt abrupt and underwhelming, especially with such a strong introduction. I believe it could have been narrated well, with a different ending.
Overall, Vash Level 2 is a decent watch, with an insanely good start, that loses it's intensity halfway, and delivers a not-so-satisfying climax.
My Rating : 3.5/5.

A very good fast paced throughly engaging movie with excellent performance of all the actors. You can feel the tension in every scene. Cinematography is top notch and those single take shots are very good, director just nailed it. Overall a must watch movie and for gujarati people, this one is our PAN INDIA LEVEL movie.
