I would like to start with one word- WOW! They had no right to make me cry for almost an hour. It's a bittersweet story perfect for the New Years Eve- like watching a beautiful drama while sitting at home with a cup of hot chocolate and crying nonstop over two beautiful soulmates' love story! Hande completely broke away from the Turks' cliched writing style and gave us very different scenario, very special and unique.. It is like every detail was woven with Hande's beautiful heart.. Not a single moment being boring- there is drama, comedy, action all in one! And two gorgeous leads which are delivering insane chemistry even if there are no words being told to each other in some scenes! I watched it with pleasure from beginning to end, Hande and Metin have done a fantastic job, I can't handle the ending!

The movie is awesome, poetic and unique.. It is told very beautifully and cleanly. The story idea isn't like other Turkish movies, the concept is amazing and everything gives you the vibe of old Hollywood winter films. Hande is an amazing actress but she turned out to be great writer too! This is the first story of her that was filmed and it really left me speechless. Everything is very balanced, heartwarming, emotional, perfect from start to finish.

I really hope we will see more stories written by her because she really knows how to do it.. At the beginning of the year, we can rewatch it and believe in fairy tales- which is sometimes painful but still beautiful..

How they got inspiration from myths and fairytales, mixing them with modern time struggles and blooming such a pure love story between two kindered spirits felt absolutely magical. And by they I mean Hande Ercel, she wrote the original story! She was amazing as Bilge, you can see how she owns this role. Their chemistry is on fire and combined with poetic Istanbul winter scenery, this becomes the perfect Christmas romance.
