Super Mega Cakes

This is an incredible series showcasing cake artistry. Honestly, they are so super realistic and awesome. The talent is jaw dropping. Honestly, I couldn't really care what the cakes taste like, how do we know anyway?? But the end results are amazing.

The one thing - by the second episode I was ready to smash the screen every time that ridiculous computerised circle with the voice over flashed in front of me. Who wants to look at that...what is wrong with a human with a human voice ???? Please replace with a real live person, or relegate to the background where we don't have to see it!!!

I just watched the first episode and it was great! I have a tiny bit of experience making some sculptural cakes, but I still can't wrap my brain around how they're able to make these! It did give me an idea for making a fun cake for my partner's birthday (nothing this ambitious though!).

The cakes are fantastic, but honestly it's the cake artists that make this so good. They all seem so sweet and authentic. Duff, of couse, but everyone I've seen on the show so far too. It was just a great temporary break from all the chaos and bad news in the world right now.

So, if you've been down recently like me, I highly recommend watching this and then maybe baking something with your friends or family🌸 It's hard to be sad when there's cake 🎂
