For anyone contemplating watching this i can report it is well worth it. As well as Rachael Watts bravely retelling her account of the attempted abduction & assault of her in 1990 It also takes a deep dive into the murders of Nicola Fellows and Karen Hadaway in 1986. Unlike some true crime documentaries, mostly on Netflix, i found that this was not too long & went at a good pace with just two 1 hour eoisodes. It does go back & forth a bit from 1986 to 1990 but it is done in a way so as not to be confusing.
There are interviews with police who worked on the cases & family members. As to be expected, it is not an easy watch especially the interviews with not only Rachael but the victims families particularly Nicola's mother. It also incorporates news footage of the cases at the time.
Being in Australia i had only vaguely heard of this case., I came across the show on FTA TV here & am so glad i did, It was very harrowing, but good to see that evil bastard finally face justice after getting away with it for so long. This woman is amazing, so brave to be able to do what she did as a child & now to give her first hand account of the crimes committed against her. I wish her peace & hope she can feel safe again, thank you for telling your story Rachael.
