This is easily one of the saddest character stories in all anime. Seeing all the suffering and pain Kuma endured - every detail perfectly revealed, connecting the dots from past arcs - truly deepens the impact of his actions. It explains why he did what he did for the crew. His countless sacrifices gave Bonney and the Straw Hats the chance to live freely, something he himself was never allowed. It's heartbreaking to witness such an adorable and kind soul endure so much cruelty, yet still choose to be a hero rather than a villain - even when he had every reason to turn bitter. Kumachi, you are and always will be our beloved hero.

Actual peak bro 9.9 i genuinely hope this stays if anyone deserves highest rated anime its one piece. WE HAVE COME SUCH A LONG WAY so many people say oh one piece is too long no ones watching that. Ill admit ive been watching one piece since i was a kid but took a break for a year or so. Eventually i finally did catch up and YOU KNOW WHAT i couldnt take it I wanted more of this amazing story I had to start the manga. One piece is not long enough we need 1000 MORE episodes even 2000 i dont really care it can be howver long ill be watching this with my kids, in the nursing home and in my FINAL DAYSSS d1 one piece glazer btw.

When I first read the manga I was moved. One of the few times I've ever cried for words and pictures on a page. I believed I would cry less for when the episode came out in the anime, but I was so wrong. From the stunning visuals that Toei have been consistently providing in each episode, to the music, impactful and thoughtfully integrated, to the tragic story itself, expanding upon its source material and presenting it, evolving it in a way that makes the engage with whats playing out on the screen, unable to take their eyes off the vibrant colours, art styles and narrative.

Painfully Pulchritudinous. Unforgettable. This is the story that I fell in love with all those years ago. This is One Piece.
