Claimed by My Ex's Alpha Brother is a coming-of-age, college-set werewolf story I honestly didn't plan to watch-but I'm so glad I did. Director Ken Zheng absolutely nailed this one. The color, pacing, and flow are all spot-on. I'm not even a "werewolf movie" person, and yet I thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
Savannah Coffee is perfection as Ella, the wolfless heroine rejected by her beta-alpha boyfriend Noah (played by Shane Dorriz) when he falls for the manipulative Ava, portrayed flawlessly by Nadia Wilemski-and wow, was she good. After Ella's heartbreaking rejection, she's rescued by Alpha Liam (the ever-charismatic Blake Lewis), who happens to be Noah's brother. What unfolds between Liam and Ella is a beautiful, forbidden love story that explores strength, belonging, and self-worth under Ken Zheng's heartfelt direction.
Let's talk performances: Savannah Coffee is absolutely luminous-innocent, loving, and vulnerable, yet quietly strong. Blake Lewis plays the ideal alpha: powerful yet tender. I'm especially enjoying watching Blake's growth as an actor; his performance here feels much more natural and immersive, no longer reading like lines from a script but lived-in emotion. Shane Dorriz delivers perfectly as the arrogant, cruel ex, while Nadia Wilemski shines as the deliciously wicked Ava-you can't take your eyes off her.
This story has heart, heat, and just the right amount of sizzle between Ella and Liam. Under Ken Zheng's direction, Claimed by My Ex's Alpha Brother becomes more than a supernatural romance-it's a beautiful emotional journey. ReelShort delivered a true gem with this one. Definitely a must-watch.
