Episode #1.8

Aras is the only one who's genuinely concerned about Asli and her health. He couldn't sleep until he was sure she was okay. And how beautifully he listed the reasons to love her... Reyhan manipulates Asli so masterfully that she's afraid to offend her by doing something wrong, so she's completely under her influence for now.

Emel made a spectacular appearance; she was the last person we expected to see in this intrigue.

Aras didn't kiss Melike; Melike attacked him, and he, in his current state, didn't immediately realize what was happening.

Kerem put on an acting clinic when declared his love and feeling for Asli and he told Reyhan exactly how it was in their family. Reyhan's obsessive feelings towards Asli are downright creepy and her actions are unhinged. To lie and create trouble for Sezin and to condemn Aras. I cannot wait for them to learn that Aras didn't kiss Melike and she was obsessed with him.

I also can't wait to see what the kids dad's character will be. I hope he shows what Reyhan is and helps the truth be told. I was floored that Emel knew about Melike being adopted.

I'm not sure what I feel about Metin and Huluya yet...both are shady but it will bring Reyhan down a peg or two.

Reyhan is truly delusional if she thinks in the end Figen won't choose Aras, maybe pushing him to choose Derya will get the truth revealed. Derya has already hinted at crazy acts by Melike.

This story leaves me wanting more every week. So many hidden secrets to be told about all. I love this show.

Iam a fan of Kerem Bürsin - and knowing he was going to play the character of Aras, but not the "lead" I was a bit unsure, but curious. The story is very different with the story immediately meeting Aras and shortly after we see Asli and the scope of her health condition which brings Aras back into her life! No spoilers but be prepared for a crazy wild ride. The mother's one has been a single mother primarily raising her 3 children on her own. Huyla and her decisions we are critical of her ways, but after a few episode we get to know Figen. All the while Reyan has through tragedy has feelings about Asli of that of a mother to protect Asli. What starts as protection and a way to keep close and heal from her own loss, becomes an obsession - episode 8 .... As we continue to learn the secrets the families try to keep hidden!
