I first came across the main characters in this show in another show. "Young Sheldon", I had been mistakenly avoiding Young Sheldon, because I had decided (without ever seeing) that it would be stupid.
But my wife finally got me to finally sit down with her in the last few episodes that that show. That's when i first saw George and Mandy. And I was very happily surprised to see this were funny, smart, decent characters. Characters that didn't have to attack each other to give us a good laugh. And could draw me into their story to point that I don't want to miss a minute of an episode.
Besides the two main characters, who have been working together for years on Young Sheldon. There's an excellent supporting cast. Will Sasso is great as Mandy's dad who to learn to deal with a son-in-law who's so much younger than his daughter.
Every episode are a feel good experience. The writers and actors manage to make a good and happy family an excellent show. This not one of the shows where all the males over 18 are idiots that even the youngest in the family have over a barrel.
The youngest character in story is one full of character. And we don't have to put up with some writer lecturing us through a characters dialog. This is just an excellent and happy show about good people. No shooting, no car chases, no politics.
Give this show a chance they will move into your heart.

I'm late to discovering show. I started watching it this season, just to see what all the fuss is about.
I've greatly enjoyed the previous ten episodes of this season. But this one, this one really got my attention.
There are many episodes left, so it was great to see Ed Begley Jr. And Wallace Shawn as doctors (PdD.'s Linkletter and Sturgis. And Wendy Malik adds the magic she's added to so many TV series in the past.
There's a very funny twist on the story line of male sterilization that is well acted and well written.
It's hilarious.
The writers continue to weave multiple story lines into episodes that leave wanting the show to go on, even though we know the lead actor has aged out of his part.
I've watched a number of series end over the years. And this little show is doing and excellent job with closing out what has been a treat to watch to watch every night.
As I had said in opening statement I haven't watched the first six seasons before recently. And I now know I made a mistake ignoring this great little show.
Be sure to watch every minute of this episode, especially the last few minutes. You won't want to have missed any of it.
