Yes, it is same plot mostly every episode and a retread of the 20 something frat bro man-child cliche. Still, it is wild, weird, quotable, often brilliant stoner mess. The character personalities work so well together and I found writing imaginative and crisp. Not every episode works but when it sticks, the show was one of funniest on TV. Workaholics and Broad City were two of best shows that Comedy Central every produced. Brilliant comedy writers who don't care about boundaries, norms, raunch. They threw it out there and made some amazing episodes. It is not for everyone. Not even close. I am middle aged guy who could relate to post-college, not ready for adulthood vibe.
