I've thoroughly enjoyed many Amy Adams movies, but this was definitely not one of them.
In this movie Amy plays a character with no redeeming features. The title would have been more apt if the word "night" were removed. Just a horrible, unlikable person, that we're somehow supposed to feel empathy for.
And maybe empathy would have been possible, were it not for the fact that halfway through the film Amy and her group of friends celebrate their acts of animal cruelty. Amy's character brutally dismembers a family pet while in dog form (because she finds it annoying), and is not only unrepentant about this act - she has a good old laugh about it with her girlfriends (one of whom admits to letting the family goldfish die because she couldn't be bothered looking after it).
This is a gross & offensive film that should be taken to the pound and then quietly put to sleep.

This movie may be campy, over the top, silly and small budget. But it is a movie clearly made with love and care by very competent people with a clear goal in mind, and it works!
The practical effects are fantastic for a film of this type, and as far as i can tell it was made without any CGI at all. The rest of the production is great too, and aside from a couple of incels complaining about the lack of nudity the positive reviews are well deserved!
If you like sword & sorcery films or great practical costumes (& campy gore-fests) then this is a film you should watch!

Good production value, good sets. Nothing else of value.
Surely we have all learnt by now that any show which introduces 50 different plot lines in the first episode is not going to resolve any of them.
And once again we have an "ALIEN" show which seems to be mostly about synths and the newly introduced cyborgs... the aliens themselves are nothing more than an afterthought.
This show reeks of a rushed high budget low effort cash grab off the back of Romulus, and if any of these myriad confused plot lines end up with an actual satisfactory conclusion then I'll eat my hat.
