This is Rodger Federer. This seems like it was a bunch of your buddies uncles putting some cheesy documentary together about their buddy. The music selection.....oof! That was a touch opener. I know what you were going for, but it was a huge miss. If you are going for "Explosions in the Sky" pay them! They would have made this film all connect!
They really did try to reach for the emotional strings to tug at, but you can't try the entire film. Where is the build up, where is the drama??Just again...seems like a bunch of suburban dads who have clout in the industry put this together. It really was a struggle to watch.

I don't agree with the critics claiming that the position is any more outlandish than the 50 other theories out there. The problem is the delivery and just overall production value of the entire documentary! For a couple of lifetime professionals in the film industry to produce something of this quality, is baffling. It was so difficult to take seriously.
A. Find somebody better to deliver the message. I mean...that was the most unconvincing monologue I've ever witnessed. And the set design....dear lord...did they just set the interview up in the kitchen in their house and turn some lights on?
B. Was on earth was that choice in music and ambient tones?? The dark and ominous sounds over dramatizing is cringy. Like you've pulled back the curtain on the truth that will set us all free! LOL. And were there random gunshots in there accenting title treatments?!? I felt like my 8 year old son was behind the wheel of this one!
C. Finally basing this entire theory claiming that the vast majority of the public have no clue what a squib is?!?! Wow! News Flash...If you were to ask the majority of moviegoers, even in the early 1960's how movies recreated being shot, they would know to some degree it was an exploding prosthetic under their clothing!
They really could have just done a much better job presenting this theory as just that...a possible theory that could have happened. The low production value, high level cheese factor and matter of fact tone just ups the cringe level significantly.

Unfortunately this is going to cover a great deal of information that you probably already know. I'm not sure who the audience is for this documentary, but if you don't already know the information given in this film you haven't dug very deep. I have nothing against Christian beliefs, the Bible, Jesus or any other religions that help you live a healthier happier more productive life. But this has nothing to do with whether there is proof of heaven or not. This film consistently spouts out scripture and Christian beliefs that have been peddled for centuries. Again, it has nothing to do with proving whether there is heaven or not.
