Nonsensical ending to an otherwise great miniseries. Great acting, great set pieces and interesting characters. But as other reviewers have pointed out...the ending made no sense at all.

I really enjoyed that it was set in the late 1980s. There were some interesting secondary stories as well. But that ending...kinda ruined it.

Seems like it wasn't everybody's thing, but I found it engaging and the characters interesting. It also offered some good and timely lessons on themes such as forgiveness and gossip. It was much lighter than I was expecting it to be based on the first episode. Would have loved a season 2 but guess that isn't happening.

Low stress and easy to watch flick with leads who had at least decent chemistry (far from always the case in these).

The script was light and breezy. The acting was good. I really enjoy the focus around cheese (I hadn't seen that done before). And I'm personally a sucker for festivals and competitions in these sorts of films.

Overall a stress free watch.
