The series was ok.
Pros: -story is really well thought of, I like some of the twists an in general it is a unique experience -good pacing throughout the series 6 episodes -the visuals are nice and prop usage is also likable
Cons: -the action is just so so. The feeling of good action just doesn't come. Could be because of the choreographies or because the actors aren't feeling it -it's wierd that sometimes you get gore, like blood spurting out of people and another time it seems like they don't want to show it -the ending is really wierd -the Charakter Features of the daughter are just cliche and I hate it
I enjoyed the first 3 episodes and some parts of the last 3.
It's still a can watch but not better then a 7.

Well, what can I say except wow.
That was amazing.
Every episode until now (8 so far) are amazing in each way. The creativity combined with lore and adaption of originals unfolds beautifully.
There are episodes which show the amazing game they portray in a beautiful way. And then there are episodes showing a magnificent story with amazing Production.
I am totally in love. What a roller coaster of emotions. Hearing some of my favorite actors playing a role you wouldn't have expected them in and nailing it is fantastic in a different way.
I can only say, give it a try, but damn, episode 5 is incredible in its own way.

I have to say I don't get the hate. It is a nice sci-fi cgi. The titanfall comparison is really enjoyable.

The movie got a lot of fun and good cgi The story is enjoyable Acting is kinda good (shocking for me, thought it would be worse) Comedy and action is nicely divided The References to the gaming world are really good
Cons:
Sometimes cgi is not fully good, like you see in one part of the frame a slight downside of the cgi or in a movement some small mistakes Story is relatively predictable (though probably only if you watch a lot of those movies or play similar games)
A last note: I do think it is a great idea do combine game worlds and movies. There is so much potential out there. Yes, these are not fully original pieces, but they are a heck of a lot better than brainless refurbished movies. Also with this movie you can really see what cgi can be if you give the team their budget and time to finish what they want to show us.
Conclusion: It's a 9/10 for me.
