Never thought superhero or fantasy would work in Indian cinema, but Dominic Arun's Lokah proved me wrong 👌. There's a familiar saying in cinema: "The more rooted your story is, the more universal it becomes."
The director beautifully used Kottarathil Sankunni's Aithihyamala Yakshi character to create a superhero world, opening a whole new gateway for Indian cinema 🤞
Absolutely loved the cinematography and lighting. Except for Mollywood's usual "Bangalore fetish" bits, everything else is definitely worth a watch! ✨

Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu carry the movie effortlessly from start to finish. For Fahadh, this felt like a complete cakewalk-he slips into the role with ease. But the real surprise here is Vadivelu. This is truly his best performance to date, a side of him we've never seen before. Huge credit to Sudheesh Sankar for showcasing what a phenomenal actor Vadivelu is 👌.
The retro song was another highlight, it felt organic and natural, unlike the forced trend we see in many films these days. While the second half does have some lag, the movie overall remains engaging and delivers a wholesome watch.
