This is a surprisingly bad movie. Fingerpori is a beloved comic strip, and I don't find the idea of the live action potrayals inherently offensive. But somehow the movie manages to do everything wrong.
The good old gags we've all seen in the comics are in the first minutes, and got a few chuckles out of me. That accounts for the second star. I'm also feeling charitable for no particular reason.
But then the "story" starts, and the movie falls apart. The characters are meant for silly puns and one-liners, and they're not fleshed out at all nor is "the lore" expanded. The skits are very long, and bore you to tears. The ultimate punchline goes from mediocre to painfully unfunny. The tone is also weird: puns don't really work that well if the storyline casually involves some very dark material such as death, child neglect, and excessive alcoholism without any payout - comical or otherwise. The movie skips the usual humor and even obvious places for some of the classic comic-strip lines.
This movie might just be the definition of painfully unfunny. The script is baffling, and it's mind-boggling that dozens of industry professionals saw it and were like "this is fine, lets shoot it".

So, stumbled upon this as freebie on YouTube. But that just sweetens the deal. I'd very much recommend it if you're interested in multilevel marketing schenanigans, or crypto fraud. But under that it's still a human story of the fates of the participants, and the grim manipulations of the scammers.
The documentary takes many angles, from victims to a mufti who issued a fatwa on OneCoin. Of course, the investigators are front and centre in the story.
This is a well-structured documentary. Obviously the verdict is already out, we know that it was a scam all along. But this documentary still brings worthwhile stuff on the table.

Deadpool is a great character. I'm allergic to the fourth wall breaking, but he can do it as much as he wants. And I'm loving it.
Had seen the film, but did not remember how dark the origin story was. Maybe I was looking for quips and delightful violence? Anyhow, maybe the darkness did balance the film.
Reynolds is a pleasure to watch in the titular role, and so is Baccarin as the love interest. Also liked Miller as the goofy assassin bar guy, and Skrein as the villain. Negasonic Teenage Warhead is my favourite character (after Deadpool), and Hildebrand is delightful in the role.
It's a good film, well executed. I will happily watch this in couple of years when I've inevitably forgotten most of the plot again.
