Honestly after two episodes I was about to give this show 8 stars, strong cameos (as usual GSP is so bad at acting but always a pleasure to see him), decent story at the beginning we always love underdogs, david vs goliath type and hands down, I've never seen such a high level of fighting skills in actors. The fights are great, best I've ever seen in a combat movie or show (looking at you cobra kai, actors were so bad at fighting the show lost all credibility).

BUT, it quickly turns into a clown fiesta. Useless drama, really poor plot twists, I almost stopped watching it, made my eyes rolled to the back of my head. Started so good but ended up so freaking bad, till the very last seconds. That ending man. Can't believe someone read that script and tought it was good, now I kind of feel like I wasted five hours, one of the worst ending ever. Was about to give four or five stars, I'll give six for the cameos and combat skills of everyone.

Listen, it's an action/thriller/horror/romance movie. Stop looking too far and over analyze it. Went into it without knowing anything about the movie, did not see the trailer and to be honest never heard of it. Just read the synopsis, looked at the cast, and as a fan of both actors I tought why the hell not. From the begining I got hooked up, I liked how their relationship developped and I was so happy when Miles decided to zipline to Anya lol.

When we first saw the mutated beings I was astonished (again didnt see the trailer so for me it was a cool moment, just saw it was an action/thriller movie so I wasn't expecting that) really nice CGI. They're not reinventing the wheel here, but it's a good entertaining movie, bit of a cheesy ending but hey listen it's a V-day movie ;)

Stop comparing oranges with apples, it may not be a masterpiece per say, but for an action/thriller/horror/romance (lol) it delivers exactly what it needs to do. Turn your brain off, enjoy Anya, the action, the special effects, the eerie athmosphere and just have fun.
