Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) is the sequel to The Terminator (1984) that was once again written and directed by James Cameron and it follows a cyborg from the future, identical to the one who failed to kill Sarah Connor, must now protect her ten-year-old son John from an even more advanced and powerful cyborg. This is a movie that for many years has been hailed by many people as one of the greatest movies ever made and those people are right because this movie is freaking phenomenal.

Positives for Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991): The opening of this movie perfectly sets the tone and approach as this sequel is a science fiction action movie with an insane budget of $94-102 million which made it the most expensive movie made at the time and it shows with the amazing practical and visual effects in the war battle on full display to the enjoyment of the audience. I love the mystery with the two Terminators and you are left wondering which one is the face or the heel and the reveals of these characters are phenomenal. I also love the opening with Arnold Schwarzenegger as he is searching for some clothes and motorcycle at a bar and you get some of the best character acting where everyone has a different reaction to seeing the future government of California and ends with him walking to "Bad to the Bone". Then, you have to talk cast with Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800, Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Edward Furlong as John Connor, Robert Patrick as the T-1000 and Joe Morton as Miles Bennett Dyson, who all give awesome performances. Arnold was so good at playing the T-800 that has to learn about various human emotions like why we cry and serves as a phenomenal protector for John Connor. Edward Furlong is so good as John Connor and this was one of his first major acting role in a Hollywood blockbuster movie and was destined for greater things, but he decided to disrespect his fans and ruin his own career for no reason. Then, you have Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, who is one of the most badass female characters in both movies and television. This is a character who would now be hated or called woke except the people would be wrong because he is an actual person dealing with world ending issues. You also have Robert Patrick as the T-1000, one of the greatest movie villains in the history of cinema, and he shows no remorse or mercy towards anyone who stands in his way just to take out John Connor. You have other supporting cast with my personal favorite being Joe Morton as Miles Bennett Dyson and he was good in his role. I also have to say that the action sequences are absolutely phenomenal with so many explosions, gunfire, practical and visual effects that still hold up to this day as well as the use of slow-motion on certain scenes. I also love the pacing of this movie and I did watch the special edition that is over 150 minutes long, but it never felt that long while I was watching it. This is the movie with some of Arnold's best one liners ever which includes "Hasta la vista, baby." And finally, the ending of this movie is both sad and happy as the T-800 decide that it needs to be destroyed to prevent Judgment Day from ever happening while also understand why we cry which then leads to Sarah Connor's monologue about Judgment Day never happening as well as seeing her enjoy life at the park with John and his family.

Overall, Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) is a perfect movie sequel as it gets everything right when it comes to the art of filmmaking. This is not only one of my favorite movies in James Cameron's filmography, Terminator 2 Judgment Day (1991) is one of my favorite movies in the history of cinema.

24:Legacy (2016-2017) is a spin-off series in the 24 franchise and it follows a military hero who returns to the U. S. with a whole lot of trouble following him back. With nowhere else to turn, the man asks CTU to help him save his life while also stopping one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil. This is the final entry in the 24 franchise and it was a massive waste of everyone's time.

Positives for 24: Legacy (2016-2017): The cast of this show particularly Corey Hawkins, Miranda Otto and Anna Diop give good performances.

Negatives for 24: Legacy (2016-2017): This show utilizes the real-time concept of the original series, while also incorporating what worked in 24: Live Another Day except this show is crap. The characters are lame copies of the original cast except none of them are likable despite the actors trying their best. The story is so boring and full of plot holes. The action is not fun or engaging whatsoever. The show drags its story down with horrible pacing. And finally, this show has the audacity to end on a cliffhanger for a Season 2 that never happened.

Overall, 24: Legacy (2016-2017) is a blatant spit in the face to 24 fans and the original series as well as just being one of the worst television series ever created and the fact that this is the last entry in the 24 franchise really pisses me off.

The Abyss (1989) is a science fiction movie written and directed by James Cameron and it follows an undersea mobile oil-rig crew who are called on to assist in the recovery of a lost nuclear submarine, but who find unexpected mysteries and perils in the mission. This is the James Cameron movie that no one seems to talk about which is shocking because this movie is freaking awesome.

Positives for The Abyss (1989): This is a good old fashioned underwater exploring movie with characters recover something, but they find something that is beyond their understanding. You have a great cast with the underwater crew and great performances particularly from Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Michael Biehn. The special effects for the mysterious creature that our characters find are fantastic and they still hold up to this day. I love that we spend so much time with the crew on their mission and you care about them as people. The movie is a slow burn with the story and it take it's time with the build up the big reveal of this mysterious creature and other things. And finally, the ending with the big reveal being an alien ship underwater and seeing our characters hug each other is perfect.

Overall, The Abyss (1989) is a fantastic science fiction adventure movie from James Cameron that need to be appreciated more nowadays and it was a experience that I will remember for long time.
