The 2005 movie was good, the 2007 sequel was okay, but the 2015 version stunk. I really liked that they gave it a family-friendly charm, despite being a PG-13 movie, I liked the futuristic-looking 1960s setting, the costumes, and Pedro Pascal's performance as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic. What I liked most was that they made Ben Grimm/Thing and Galactus look more comic-accurate.
I loved the animation provided by Industrial Light and Magic, the funny parts, and the action. I thought Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry's respective performances as Orion Pax and D-16 (Optimus Prime and Megatron), and the chemistry between the characters before becoming enemies. I also liked B-127 (Bumblebee) being the comic relief, and Scarlett Johansson's performance as Elita-1. Jon Hamm was also good at sounding smug as Sentinel Prime. This movie has elements of the old G1 cartoon, the TF Prime series, and partially from the Bayverse films. The story in this movie was a whole lot better than the ones in the previous installments. I know it's an origin story, but the ending was really sad seeing the best of friends becoming the fan-favorite worst enemies. Before they became each other's enemies. Optimus Prime and Megatron had a "Drake and Josh" kind of relationship. Optimus was like Drake: wanting to go on an adventure, going with the flow and not afraid to break the rules. Megatron was like Josh: smarter, uptight, and going strictly by the rules, afraid of the consequences.
