This is a mostly well made and paced documentary detailing the devastating and moving stories of what happened during Hurricane Katrina.
However after a solid first two episodes the third episode is muddled narratively (especially the first 20 mins ish) and the random addition of the PowerPoint style text on the screen which adds nothing and if anything cheapens the points they're trying to make.

This was so overlong and mostly boring. Way too much filler, too many side characters (many being very two dimensional and stereotypical) and if it's meant to be funny, it isnt.
The central character has zero self awareness and it's all a bit 'not like other girls' and it's everyone else who is wrong. While this isnt always the case, she definitely has room to grow and some of her behaviour is selfish/problematic/toxic without any self reflection.
Positives are Will Sharpes performance. He brings an emotional depth to his character that is lacking from almost all the others. He is almost the heart of the whole show, which probably isnt the intention.
Megan Stalter is also very good with what shes got to work with. But her character isn't overly likeable or developed from episode 1 to 10.
There are also some genuinely emotional, powerful and heartfelt moments. But there is so much filling around it that they get lost.
