Dante's humor level with lady and other characters is just pure fun! Their banter adds a fun and light hearted touch amid all the action. Patty's presence also brings some charming moments that balance the darker themes well. The music truly stands on another level! Perfectly amplifying every scene's emotion and intensity. And oh god, the way they changed the ending credits for this episode is Absolutely stunning. Everything about this episode is beautiful the visuals, the animation quality, the pacing everything just clicks. Can't wait to see how the next episode unfolds!
The music is strong and the main song makes my pulse pound. The art style feels like classic anime from 2007 with bright colors and clear lines. The show keeps its focus on Dante as a full hero not just a fighter. He listen to love stories of others, cares and most importantly no demon comes close to him, I mean the son of sparda with Rebellion! This is what some "reboots" are missing...the fight scenes flow so that each blow feels like part of a dance. I was happy to see Dante take time to hear others before he battled. This mix of care and action makes this episode stand out in its own way. This blend of feeling and action is what makes this anime so memorable!
No point denying it, the colours are rich, the animation is smooth, and the music bangs start to finish. The opening shot had me grinning, thinking Netflix finally understood Devil May Cry. And? That hope dies fast. The plot messes with the lore for no reason and the changes make no sense.
Dante. With Rebellion, fumbles through basic fights and looks lost. The swagger, the smart mouth, the stylish flair, all missing.
If you have never touched the games you might enjoy the flashy visuals and pounding soundtrack. Anyone who grew up with the series will finish the episode feeling let down and annoyed. And never understood messing with the lore part! Can't they stick to the original for once? What's the point of these reboots after all.
