My key points for this movie are:
Watch it like it is a psychological thriller rather than a psychological horror. I believe that will help you get you through most of it.
The concept does have great potential. It reels you in- you will find yourself lost in the movie at times. It goes a bit overboard artistically which makes the plot move slowly. Since they wanted to hide the big reveal, they use those artistic features to distract you.
It begins to feel longwinded towards the ending act. To me, the movie failed to reach a satisfying climax and left a lot of unanswered questions on the table.

First off. I'll say marvel did a bad job at keeping certain moments under wraps. The writing of this film was trying to go the mystery route basically solve the case. Unfortunately, Marvel giving us so many trailers, sneak peeks and tv spots. The case was solved before we even started the movie.
Anthony mackie did a wonderful job playing Cap. His fighting has leveled up in every way, his charisma is spot on, and truly showed how much he cared and wanted to help bring everyone together. But my issue was I wish he was a bit more agreesive rather than tip toeing around trying to be goody-two shoes. We did have moment where Mackie (Cap) said F this and went after it and I loved that But I truly just needed more.
I know everyone is raving about Harrison ford but to me he still lacked that hulk feeling. Love Harrison but I really wasn't feeling it and that's ok. Harrison is still the goat.
The film as whole gave me early marvel vibes or marvel sequel vibes. For example: First Captain America, or Iron Man 2/3, or The Incredible Hulk. If you go in looking at it like that you will have a great time. Did it have its flaws 1000%, the villain was terrible, the story was to easy to figure out, the CGI was awful in some scenes, I would've enjoyed a different red hulk. But even then it had great potential. The fighting sequences, the flying, the characters chemistry, it had that old marvel humor. Also they did a great job at answering questions and getting us ready for the next phase. It was super corny and action packed. If that ain't marvel idk what is. Don't believe the hate train.
