Nice comedy about misunderstandings and women. Nothing of innovative but fun to watch. The story unfolds between betrayals, women, debts and an unexpected stroke of luck.

Really nice movie with an interesting story and great songs even if I think there was an exaggerated fury towards Mirabel. The grandmother was of a cruelty that rivaled Cinderella's stepmother. She was so obsessed with maintaining the community that she forced her son to live in hiding and her granddaughter into a life of disappointment. In reality none of the granddaughters are happy in their role but they sacrifice themselves for the family. I wish I could have seen a little more of the rest of the family but I understand time was limited.
