I am going to keep this review, being my first, short but informative about the film without giving anything important away. To start off, i really cannot understand the vast amount of hate for this film. I watched this film last night. There will be good reviews and there will be bad reviews but ultimately until you have seen the film yourself, you cannot know whether it is a good film or not. Anyway, onto the film. Having only recently watched the first two alien movies, i have not been a long time fan and was not too excited about this film. This film is absolutely visually stunning and the cgi is out of this world, a few scenes in this movie literally made my mouth drop wide open, i was glued to the screen throughout. There have been a lot of complaints about the storyline not being related enough to the original alien film(s). If you are a long time alien fan and are expecting a scary horror with plenty of gore and aliens, look elsewhere. This film is a very intriguing one with a very inventive storyline, whether it is a prequel, a sequel or a stand alone movie, it is an absolutely amazing and immersive experience! There are a few twists in the storyline which make it more interesting and the running time is 2 hours in which the story really progresses with not one dull moment. In my personal opinion, this exceeds the level of avatar and takes the place of my favourite science fiction film of all time. The roles are played brilliantly by the leads and are very convincing. The 3d does not do much for the film and there is only one scene where the 3d really gets you involved so if you can see it in 2d you may as well, to save a few quid. This is the most fun i've had at the cinema in years, when you get so immersed in a film you forget where you are, you know it's done it's job right! I'm now just looking forward to my second viewing this weekend!

Don't listen to the reviews or critics, this film was a credit to the green lantern character and the DC universe. Ryan Reynolds played the act brilliantly and perfectly, the CGI was stunning, admittedly, the 3D was rubbish, but isn't it always? The costume for the green lantern looks so real with every detail fine tuned to perfection. There is intense and awesome action scenes, there is comedy and there is a brilliant backdrop and plot, all these things come together very well to make the perfect superhero movie. If you don't believe me, rent this film when it comes out and judge for yourself, don't let me or the critics sway your opinion.

To start off, this film is F*ck*ng awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cleverly combined amazingly believable CGI special effects, Shia Lebouf's very funny part and the smoking hot British Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, this makes for a very good film! The CGI is the best I have ever seen in my whole entire life!! Shia Lebouf is on top form as always and the new alternate to Megan Fox is equally as hot and much better of an actress. The autobots and decepticons are back as usual at each other's throats. This film is utterly brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing that I would say is that if you are a parent planning to take your young children to go and see it, although it is only rated a 12a, it is quite raunchy at parts and in one scene there are people getting disintegrated and blown up casing body parts to go flying but apart from these darker scenes, the film is AMAZING!!!!!!!
