Born in Canada, Nora grew up in Toronto's East End, in a neighborhood called The Beach. She spent many years working in the downtown Financial District before transitioning from a banking career to acting in 1997. Around 2000-2001, she shifted from acting in front of the camera to working behind the scenes. From 2001 to 2007, she worked as a film crew member and was a member of The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, IATSE Local 411.
2013 She acquired her BFA at the Ontario College of Art and Design University in Toronto.
In July 2022, Nora relocated from Toronto, Ontario, to the peaceful Maritimes, where she now enjoys her retirement and pursues her lifelong passion for the arts. As an active artist, she creates stunning paintings and drawings, making her work available to collectors worldwide. Many of her colleagues from the film industry acquired her pieces and she continues to create and provide pieces for the public and private clientele.
