I was really excited when I found this on HBO Max but I only made it into the first 30 minutes of the first episode. I guess I expected more of a format type of documentary however it was mostly a mish mash of Ethan Hawke ranting non-stop in a very disjointed manner while talking to his other actor friends via Zoom. This was distracting and very, very poorly done. I'd love to see this re-done with more information about the stars and a lot less of Hawke and his friends on Zoom.

Someone mentioned that people who were giving this low marks need to quit watching Fox News and give other people's beliefs a chance. I'm not sure what they were talking about because I never heard any of the actors talk about their politics or beliefs. I'm also not really that familiar with Ethan Hawke other than a few things he's done on film.

This was very disappointing and I doubt I'll go back and try to re-watch it. Other people may view this differently.

At one time I watched every episode of their shows, new and reruns. I just couldn't get enough of them. Then I started noticing that pretty much every house they did looked just like the last one they had done. One of the last episodes I watched they were at a vintage craftsman house and pretty much took all of the charm out of it. Buyers, if you want a modern home then buy one! Don't ruin a nice vintage house. I got tired of hearing them say they were going to "blow" out walls for a total open concept feel. I was also beginning to think that the home inspectors they used were blind and unlicensed since there is always at least one expensive disaster during every show. For example on one show no one noticed that there were no footers under a main floor? I did notice that they are now telling buyers that the "dream house" is out of their budget and they are being shown the house just to see what their tastes are like. Not that it matters because they pretty much ignore what the homeowners want anyway. I also found it odd that they didn't like it when homeowners brought some of their own things for the house. I realize most of this is simply acting and drama. However, one day I realized I was really over them. I removed their shows from my DVR list and haven't looked back. This is strictly my opinion and I'm sure others will feel differently.

There will never be another Jack Benny. He was absolutely the best. My parents always watched his TV show and even when I was just a young kid I thought he was hilarious. His timing is impeccable, the jokes are truly funny, and the cast is the perfect foil for his jokes. The jokes were never dirty and the only time they were mean was when they were directed at Benny. He could make an audience laugh just by looking at them. My favorite episodes are the ones with Rochester played by the truly wonderful Eddie "Rochester" Anderson. Even though Jack was the boss, Rochester always got his way and sometimes you wondered who was actually the boss. It's hard to say which episode is my favorite, because I love them all, but I do always look forward to seeing his Christmas episode, "Jack Goes Shopping". Mel Blanc is perfect as the harried clerk. I have several DVD's of his show and they are also currently being shown on Antenna TV if anyone is looking for them.
