Greetings from Lithuania.
"Trap" (2024), a latest movie written, directed and partially acted by the once shortly famous M. Night Shyamalan. There was no hope that this movie could be good for me, as i have lost hope for this director to make anything close to those 2-3 great movies he once made decades ago. "Trap" is a poor movie - no surprises here. The plot is ridiculous even for M. Night Shyamalan's movie. The idea is a pure nonsense, and a concept was basically made to showcase as much as possible of his daughter - she plays one of the lead roles here as this famous pop teen singer and during her concert this so called trap happens. The many ridiculous ways that M. Night Shyamalan puts his main character in situations and then thinks of impossible ways for him to escape cops, FBI and etc. Are just plain bad and lacks any kind of imagination - even for a movie. Like people that hunting him are the most incompetent cops in a history of cinema. Like i was laughing at how things were kind of happening here - screenplay, story and the entire films is just plain poor. The storytelling was so ridiculous that at running time 1 h 40 min. I did laughed a lot in disbelieve so time went fast.
Overall, "Trap" is just a poor M. Night Shyamalan's family business project. Like there is nothing to see here.

Greetings from Lithuania.
"American Primeval" is a mini series created by Peter Berg. It is a brutal, realistic and bloody series set in US. It reminded me both of "Revenant" and "Hostiles", and while "American Primeval" does not reach greatness of those two movies, i enjoyed it very much. Only the ending was very conventional and predictable. Taylor Kirch lead this series in an excellent performance. Cinematography, set design, costumes, music were all top notch.
Overall, "American Primeval" is good western series. Very realistic in depiction of violence and nature but with a predictable ending, still recommended if you enjoyed movies like "Revenant" or "Hostiles".

Greetings from Lithuania,
Episode 6 was the last episode of "American Primeval" - an involving, brutal, realistic story. I liked it again as the entire series - great cinematography, acting, and directing. Although the ending and how it all ended was predictable and the ending is very conventional - so nothing new here.
Overall, last episode was good, well paced but a bit to much predictable.
