Brian (Kevin James) is trying to be a perfect stepdad to his wife's kid, then one day in the park he sees Jeff (Alan Ritchson) and his son C. J., and quickly become friends, but soon Brian will discover there is more to Jeff then meets the eye.
It's an entertaining fun film and has a fun self-aware vibe on how crazy it is. Kevin James and Alan Ritchson bring a joyous odd couple thing here. Kevin James brings his awkward comic charm, and Alan Ritchson seems to be having fun spoofing Reacher. Action scenes are over the top, but I'm pretty sure that was on purpose. Playdate is just that type of movie where you don't need to think but just be entertained.

Philip (Brendan Fraser) is an actor living in Japan, is out of luck, basically takes small gigs like commercials, he then gets a job offer to a company called Rental Family, where he plays a stand in for families. At first, he is reluctant but eventually goes along with it, but will he get emotionally attached?
Brendan Fraser gives a very real performance, showing that sometimes less is more. And all the actors really shine as well and not to mention the filmmakers really the beauty of Japan, makes you feel like you want to be there. It's a good film about the human condition.

Set in a dystopia, where the future is in ruins, the only thing is what a lot of people enjoy, is The Running Man, a show where somebody is hunted, and if they survive for 30 days, they win, but so far nobody has survived. Ben Richards (Glen Powell) is struggling; to help his wife and kid, he decides to try the challenge, and if he survives, he wins a big amount of money, But the question is, will he?
Action scenes are pretty fun, almost as good has John Wick. Glen Powell does pretty well, except when he tries to be funny, it comes across like he's trying too hard. Michael Cera does steal scenes, and when he does you feel this movie should be more about him. Some fight scenes are enjoyable, but go into this you know what to expect.
