The story is a well done, well written, yet flawed tragedy.
The beast and Oscar Isaac were wonderful. Mia Goth put in a good performance, but other than that no other characters really stood out to me. They were all pretty well written. The dialogue was well done. There wasn't any cringe or bad dialogue.
The production value is very good. It is very much in the style of Guillermo del Toro, which I love. The CGI looked good, but they did use a lot of practical effects as well.
The story itself was good, not a lot of action, but there was some good action sprinkled throughout. The action was very intense, way more practical than I figured it would be with some CGI/vfx to support it and make it look believable. This is a story where you have to kind of stop what you're doing and listen. But the pacing was good, sort of dropping off towards the end, but overall pretty decent.

A movie about mixed martial arts without much fighting, but in a good way. It's a very compelling movie with a good cast, good production value, and a good story.
I thought that the rock did a good job at emulating mark her as well as he could. There were some scenes in which I didn't really like his acting. I felt he overacted some of those really emotional scenes. But other than that, I think the rock did a great job. Emily Blunt did a great job as his girlfriend/wife. In real life, her character was a terrible person and I think she did a good job emulating that. I wasn't a huge fan of Ryan Bader as Marc Coleman, but I know they needed someone who could fight because there was a good amount of fight seems with him.
I was really impressed by the production value due to the fact that they recreated a lot of of the scenes straight from real life.
Overall, it's a good movie.

This movie was a very solid crime, thriller, drama.
I loved Hugh Jackman's performance as the father. A very good arc. Jake Gyllenhaal's detective Loki was also very good slightly unhinged but calculating. In general grade Casting, great writing.
The story itself was really good. It had a lot of chills and thrills. Had a good twist at the end. I was pretty engaged with the story throughout. Especially looking at the mental breakdown of the characters. It had a real good moral about justice and vigilantism.
This film is definitely a must see for any thriller movie fan.
