I admit that my review is based on watching less than 1 episode, but it bothered me to the point that I needed to warn that it is very disturbing to watch. It has stayed with me and won't go away. If you or your kids are particularly sensitive or influenced by shows or movies please do NOT watch this.

No one needs to watch it.

I just finished watching the 3rd season of Happy Valley. I started again and watched all 3seasons. I am blown away by the incredible acting in this series.

Sarah Lancashire is incredible. And what a great character she gets to play.

It is always a pleasure to watch the British ensembles like this one that is so good you can just sit back and enjoy.

HV is definitely on the dark and gritty side but not to the point where it is unwatchable. There are many touching moments and funny ones too.

A definite must if you love British productions.
