I went into the movie not really knowing much about it. I think I'd seen a preview, so I had a vague idea that it was about twins, and I really liked the film. I thought the acting was excellent and I hope that the three main characters get more work, because I thought they all were really believable, without a false note anywhere. As sad/emotional as the film was at times, I also thought it had a lot of humor without it every feeling forced or jokey. All in all, a really enjoyable movie.

I went into this movie without having seen or read a review and not knowing anything about it, except the general description. I was really impressed. I thought it was a fascinating movie to watch and kept me engaged and on the edge of my seat throughout it. I was really impressed by the lead actor, Riz Ahmed, who I had never seen before. I walked out thinking that I hope he ends up in a lot more films, because he was excellent. I thought the lead actress was also very good, as were the rest of the cast. If you like thrillers and suspense, this is well worth watching. I walked out of it thinking who I needed to recommend it to.

I hadn't seen a Superman movie since I went to the theater to watch Christopher Reeves and Gene Hackman in the first one (if you don't count Ben Affleck in Hollywoodland) so I don't consider myself a big Superman/Superhero buff. I went to this mostly out of curiosity, and I really enjoyed it. I thought the lead was really good and was convincing as Superman, and guy playing Lex Luthor was very good as the angry, vengeful Luthor. I also thought there was a nice mix of humor, with the great Wendell Pierce delivering a really funny line towards the end. I also thought the action/fight scenes were well paced. Sometimes these can go on too long for me, and the fights here were good, and held your interest. Oh, and I almost forgot, I really liked the guy playing Mr. Terrific.

My only drawbacks were that I thought the Boravia/Jarhanpur conflict didn't make sense. Boravia is in Europe, but Jarhanpur sounds South Asian. And the battle scene for this was very underwhelming. The other drawback was I thought the dog was hugely overused.

With those caveats, I'd still recommend it if you wanted an entertaining action movie. I was really entertained.
