The director shot two different films with Gosling in the title role, which, it would seem, are about completely different things, but they have the same mood - sad.

Interestingly, a fairly detailed description of the film literally describes the plot. Usually, in such descriptions, they manage to retell half of the picture. So the viewer is waiting for the appearance of the main character as an actor, and not as an engine of the plot, only in the second half of the picture, and, unfortunately, the second part, mainly because of the character change, turned out to be much less interesting, although the whole message and the so-called meaning with morality is there..

The main thing is that there are elements that can attract the viewer to watch and keep him for a sufficient period of time to finally watch to the end.

Most of all, I liked the intertwining of the destinies of such different characters, who were simply unlucky enough to meet each other for one reason or another.

The sequel didn't raise enough money to risk a bad script for the third time, so I had to wait (no one waited) for the sequel for 9 years.

The characters didn't have time to grow old, and everyone agreed to act, so at least there are advantages at the start. Eisenberg is here again with a new hairstyle. At least someone is experimenting.

There's no point in repeating the script and these twists. Everything is stable, and the script is the worst part of the movie. He's not too bad, but nevertheless, you can scold him for the longest time; you don't want to describe it all without spoilers, so you can skip it.

Thank God, the new three heroes don't pull the blanket over themselves completely, but only share it with the oldies. Yes, they're empty, it's not interesting to follow them, and they're worse than the characters they already love, so no matter how the script tries to make them look funnier, more talented, or smarter, it all looks funny. They're not funny where they should be, and yet it all looks funny, yes.

As an entertainment movie running in cinemas, it's not bad at all. Perhaps the effect would not have been the same at home without the company, but I was lucky to get to the session, so maybe the assessment is not completely objective. What can I do now?

Perhaps the picture will raise enough money, and they will have enough resources to find or write a normal script, and the next part will be even better than all the previous ones. It doesn't hurt to dream.

The original raised enough money to put the sequel into production, and then the problems begin.

I don't know what's more infuriating: the main antagonist in the form of a dwarf wizard (ironic, given the role that made the actor famous), the relocation of the scene to China just to raise more money on the local market, or an even dumber plot.

Graphics, by the way, sometimes smacks of independent studios, where graphics usually have a couple of poor students and pay in the form of a pack of "Three crusts" crackers.

A couple of moments in the film are still memorable, but you shouldn't review it if you've seen the movie a long time ago and remember it as a good one. You shouldn't spoil your memories, because why? Review it and you will know that you once liked such mediocrity.
