In the edition of 2005, it was increased to 3.000.000 euros. There are also lower prizes, one second and one third prize, two fourth prizes and four fifth prizes, since 2005 there are eight five prizes, and there's also the so-called "pedrea", 1.774 prizes of 1.000 euros, which in the past were 150.000 pesetas. Since the beginning, the children of the San Idelfonso School are the ones that sing the numbers and the prizes. Until 1983, only boys could sing them. It was in 1984 when girls were allowed to sing the prizes.
