In 2004, Gabe moved to from California to Ohio to vote and to talk to locals about politics. While there, he spent his time buying drinks for republicans who were willing to share their political views with him in hopes that through informed and respectful debate, he might change some minds. He continues to seek out heated and informed political debate.
