Casey Briggs

Casey Briggs is the ABC's Chief Elections and Data Analyst and covers elections in Australia and around the world. He maintains the ABC's election results services and writes on electoral matters. Casey studied at the University of Adelaide and was awarded a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences and Master of Philosophy (Applied Mathematics and Statistics). He then swapped academia for journalism and joined the ABC in 2016, covering news and politics and working on his first ABC election coverage in 2017. Since 2020 he has been a data and elections analyst with ABC News.
