His play, "Celimene and the Cardinal," was performed at the Court Theatre in Chicago, Illinois with Kevin Gudahl in the cast. Charles Newell was director.
One of the creators of Pilote magazine, he later worked for Mormoi, another Mad type magazine and wrote humor books . He also wrote plays of which the most famous was "Célimène et le Cardinal". which won two Molières (french Tony equivalents) of which one for Ludmila Mikaël as best actress.
