While NBC was casting for The Apprentice's first season, Stacy Harris was among those auditioning to become Donald Trump's apprentice when the production team held Nashville auditions.
Trump was not present for the tryout and, while Stacy Harris did not make the cut, she and The Donald would meet in the Volunteer State, their meeting immortalized in a photograph that appeared on the front page of The Tennessean, when Stacy joined the press gaggle interviewing the then-presidential candidate during a Franklin, Tennessee rally.
