Among pornographers, Jacky St. James has emerged in the last couple of years as the industry's leading proselytizer. Sure, everybody does those PSA spiels opposing piracy, promoting safe-sex with condoms and supporting free speech, but Ms. St. James is a one-woman sexual liberationist.
For THE SWING LIFE she mounts her soap box to give a belated defense, in no uncertain terms, of the practice of wife-swapping (or in one segment, comically called husband-swapping). To hear Jacky tell it, trading partners can save many a marriage. I know she's being tongue-in-cheek (I hope!) but hearing similar messages in dozens of her videos regarding "hotwifing", becoming a submissive, or practicing sex with step-parents or step-siblings, I've had it up to here.
The porn content is pleasant enough, and instead of the four separate vignettes approach, this feature splits neatly into two halves, concerning two sets of foursomes. Instead of playing bridge or golf, these four-baggers play hide the salami.
"My Neighbor's Wife" is the title of the first hour, starring Jodi Taylor (she of the odd maple leaf-shaped birthmark on her posterior) and Michael Vegas as the swingers, and lovely Keira Nicole and big-dicked Chad White as the timid duo.
It's Jodi's idea to "swap husbands" and the other pair reluctantly agree. Bleached blonde Keira goes first, servicing Vegas, and the pretty bondage graduate of fetish videos makes a good impression in the sack, though quickly lapsing into porn-speak "oh my God!".
Scene shifts quite appropriately to the IMMORAL PROPOSAL mansion (with its oval window doors and spiral staircase), for Jodi to reciprocate by humping Chad. Switcheroo is that Keira is invited to watch, with the proviso that she can stop the incipient infidelity if she so wishes. Instead she joins in a bit for a threesome and otherwise masturbates as voyeur. Punchline is "you've become one of us", indicating that Jacky should go to work for the Church of Scientology next.
Second half concerns swingers Richie Calhoun and Britney Amber vs. stick-in- the-muds Cherie DeVille and Ryan McLane. Problem here is that Cherie is a certified MILF, so the "friends since college" premise won't wash amidst her younger companions.
Ryan and Cherie at dinner try to drop hints that they'd be amenable to swinging with their notorious friends, but all their remarks go over Britney (here styled a brunette rather than blonde) and Richie's heads.
Finally Cherie comes right out and says it, cuing instant sack time with Richie. He looks surprised but goes along with it, and the performers deliver a quality sex scene. Unfortunately, Richie develops zero characterization and seems completely uninvolved with this assignment -apparently overworked of late.
Gimmick here is that when Amber hooks up with Ryan, the other duo go into the next room for "Round 2". It doesn't mean 2 Calhoun money shots in a row, just some extra soft-core action.
Amber's big, beautiful breasts are a highlight of the feature and I hope to see more of her if she can escape the typecasting that has her in dozens of parody videos.
Pleasant enough, this '60s style swap meet ends with a voice-over conclusion: "After all, what's friendship if you can't share a little?". Jacky, you've got to be kidding.
