Scarlett Cross: Agents of D.E.A.T.H.

The women in this movie totally kick a**! Think I'm in love with the naked assassin and killer nun!! Movie is totally crazy and has different chapters for each character/assassin. There is some crazy comedy and film plays like Tarantino meets Guy Ritchie meets everyone that inspired them along the way. If you like old school exploitation movies you will have fun spotting all the references in this film. If you have no prior knowledge of the genre then unfortunately you might completely miss the point! For this old school fan though this was excellent entertainment and thoroughly recommended!!!

I watched this on Tubi and then subscribed to Troma to check out the uncut version. This is definitely not a Troma style movie but what a blast from start to finish for both Troma fans and also fans of Martial Arts movies, grindhouse, exploitation and even Tarantino. Uncut version kicks off with a naked female Kung Fu fight that brings memories of fight scenes in movies like Escape From Brothel and Angel Fist, but this scene also like a crazy Bruce Lee Enter The Dragon tribute! With or without this opening scene this is a great piece of entertainment and I love movies full of bad ass females!!

So Amazon Prime must've got a bumper deal on a job-lot of very cheap but absolutely awful British movies because this is the second one I've watched in a row and I really wish I hadn't.

In the first scene we watch someone turn off an obviously mechanical bell alarm clock which has been dubbed with an electronic alarm, and the film doesn't get any better... As with The Conspiracy of Dark Falls, this film proves that not all British directors are Ridley-Scott. Acting awful, editing awful, sound awful, script painful... it makes you want to stop buying lottery tickets if you thought that films like this got public funding...

'Scarlett Cross' combines action with attitude and the film pays homage to several classic action movie eras and sub-genres in an anthology storytelling package that enthusiasts of action and martial arts cinema are sure to enjoy. The film is fast-paced, never stops moving and has plenty of twists, turns and unexpected outcomes to keep viewers invested. Fans of martial arts exploitation movies of the 70s & 80s, fans of Tarantino and Guy Ritchie are all bound to get a real kick out of 'Scarlett Cross'!

The filmmakers have clearly taken the time to not only shoot the film with meticulous planning and attention to detail, but every beat of the film is clearly honouring the various works over the years that inspired it; this all while providing something entirely new and original. The film is a unique experience that hits the mark for fans of multiple genres of cinema. There are those who 'may not get it' and unfairly judge the film's grainy picture quality, at times, and the way the film abruptly 'jumps' as if there are frames of film missing. Well, this is obviously an intended choice of the filmmakers to create the atmosphere of the films that inspired 'Scarlett Cross', and I love it! It clearly shows me that if the filmmakers were making a film of an entirely different genre, they would go the extra mile to shoot the film in 'that' genre's hallmark stylings to create the right atmosphere, just as they have here with 'Scarlett Cross'.

In summary, I certainly encourage all action movie fans check out 'Scarlett Cross'. The performers all do a great job, as do the filmmakers with some really excellent cinematography and action choreography. It doesn't surprise me that the film has won as many awards and accolades as it has. Highly recommended!

What can i say?

This would lose out in competition to a high-schoolers end of term project.

Bad script, bad sound, bad editing and even worse acting.

Dont waste your time, this is painful to watch and just a waste of your viewing time. Seriously, dont bother watching this, its so bad its not even funny i really dont know how this got funding,, perhaps one of the producers sold their car.. i should have guessed at the standard of this film when they had the credits at the beginning of the film, its the only way they can ensure the audience will see them.

The fight choreography was so sad it reminded of the play fights you see kids having in primary school.

Every-one has watched a bad movie or two in their life, my worst before this was "Pirate Island" but this has set a new record as my worst watch.
