One of the many challenges for the crew in the making of "2215" was to fashion an abandoned and derelict world. In order to do this, the majority of the film had to be shot in a forest, which came with its own set of problems: no electricity, no proper gear transport, no lavatories, and plenty of harsh weather conditions. It would snow one day and rain the next turning everything into slush. And because the film was shot through the months of December and January, the temperature varied between 1 to 4 °C (about 34 to 39 °F). After a full week of battling hypothermia, the crew and actors owe a big thank you to the life saving beverage - hot chocolate.
