Dalam-iwa Goseumdochi

This plot and writing are quite good. It's clearly an allegory for the Korean War from the side of the DPRK. If you like learning history from the "losing" side, it's very interesting. Some may complain about it being propaganda, but I'd ask you this, would you say the same thing about G. I. Joe, 24, almost any western or military movie? Sometimes we don't recognize how much propaganda we ourselves consume, I think that this show might help people see that.

Ugh, the plot isn't that bad but its very many episodes is mostly propaganda.

It has an interesting story, Just a teen that wants to protect his own hometown while being an undercover spy in the enemy base. Yes the propaganda and the violence is too much to be a kids show and it kinda has a bad taste for me, the family scenes will really tear you up since thats how an every day soldier thinks about allot... coming back home to their family. Thats what I see when Geumsaegi thinks about his younger brother Bamsaegi. The design of the characters, the quality, the animation, the crystal clear voice acting and the music itself is fantastic for a studio that makes copies of the Lion King and Pocahantos. Can't wait for what happens after episode 32! :)

The music is amazing and the plot works well. The animation looks really good and the backgrounds look gorgeous. The only problem I have with this show is that I can't watch it dubbed in English but I did manage to find a it with English subtitles. Also there's the propaganda but it doesnt make the show that much worse so I don't mind much. Now though this was originally a childrens show there is a lot of violence and disturbing scenes which might not be suitable for younger children. But still watching this show has been an overall really enjoyable experience and I would overall recommend watching this.
