I really enjoyed Sport Crime. The concept is clever, and definitely different - they are like a sports agency and private detective agency combined.
The story lines are good and the characters are all different in their own ways, which adds variety, curiosity and humour.
I really like that the series involves real people, real places, and real sports clubs...this gives each episode an individuality and uniqueness to it, and a real sense of the community in/around each location or sports club. And the writing manages to involve very different people / clubs / cities in each episode (giving great variety), while still staying within the over-riding structure (giving great consistency).
I also found that I learnt things about many different sports and got insights into things that I didn't know, so as well as it being engaging drama, I also found it to be educational and informative as well.
For viewers in predominantly English speaking countries, yes, it is mainly in Italian, but you can easily keep-up because the pacing is very good, so reading the sub-titles is definitely not a barrier to being able to connect with the story or the characters...and there are parts that are in English too.
Overall, I really enjoyed Sport Crime and would recommend it.
