Avis à la une
Another animated win for Nexflix. I know it is based on books like Tales of Arcadia and The Dragon Prince, but so far, none have disappointed. It reminds me of Troll Hunters because it focuses on frogs who live behind an invisible shield for protection, similar to Trolls living in a mountain. It is a great story about how one frog overcame adversity, even though the other frogs did not believe in him by telling him he couldn't be what he wanted. Even though he was not made like a Kulipari, he did his best to shine in his own way. Everyone needs to think that way and shine in our own way, using what we were given. Great story and I hope there will be more to come.
Kulipari, is a must see for fans of fantasy as well as family friendly animation. It's an action packed fantasy-adventure cartoon that takes place in the Amphibilands - a hidden village of frogs and other amphibians. Some animated shows feel rather aimless and lethargic in terms of plot, Kulipari keeps the stakes high. Early on, we learn about the shows subsequent hero, Darrel and his best friend, Gee. Darrel is the son of the villages deceased hero who was their chief warrior. Darrel does his best to live up to his father's name by training to be a warrior and protector of his village. The Kulipari themselves have not been seen or heard of since the passing of their greatest warrior after a huge battle against the scorpions. After years of silence and planning, the scorpions are once again attempting to take over the Amphibilands once and for all. Darrel and Gee has to convince the village that they are in danger and needs to prepare to fight. The story moves well across the episodes. I found the series to be a very unexpected delight.
It was a very cool and awesome show about magic and frogs. Definitely a new hyper fixation. All of the characters are interesting and feel fleshed out. I wish this show got more time and more seasons because it was genuinely a good story and genuinely enjoyable. It's definitely made a fan out of me. Each Kulipari has interesting powers the main character is enjoyable to watch and even the villains are fun and exciting. This show is a real gem and I cannot wait to read the books and comic series that ties into this wonderful series. And while the animation isn't the all time greatest it actually works very well and fits the show.

- AnecdotesThis series' first season was originally intended to be released as three 3-episode DVDs, covering only the first of the books. When Netflix picked it up, however, they decided it should be 13 episodes. So more story had to be added, borrowing from the second book.
