Kick ass home movie fun

It is amazing what can be achieved when a guy, Paul Weston, has an idea, a passion, a group of odd friends and an equally odd, yet understanding family get together to create a sci-fi movie. The results are funny, corny, campy and altogether incredible. With a non existent budget Paul has made a film with only an iPad, home computer, some editing software and a lot of hard work. Not to mention his limitless imagination.

Okay this film, or the actors in it, will never win any awards. But it is easy to see how much fun everyone had in making it. Homeworld may not be to everyone's taste, but it should serve as a lesson to anyone that has a hidden George Lucas or Stephen Spielberg in their heart to go ahead and make that movie. Be a bit silly, have some fun, and though your audience may be small.....entertain them!

Two of the characters in this movie have names that are a tribute to characters/actors in the movie Die Hard. "Brick McClane" pays homage to Bruce Willis' character John McClane. Plus Dr. Hans Rickman pays homage to Alan Rickman's character Hans Gruber.
